The Nebraska Certified Nurserymen program was established to promote the professionalism of individuals within our industry. A rigorous three part test, which covers plant identification, landscape, and the NCN manual, must be successfully completed. NCN testing takes place twice a year during the Summer Field Day and the Nebraska Green Expo. Manuals may be purchased through the NNLA office (402) 450-7192 or on the web site.

To retain the NCN status, continuing education must be completed every year. Renewal notices are sent out in the fall. Continuing education includes attendance at the Nebraska Green Expo, the Western Conference or the Mid Am Conference or the ANLA Convention or Management Clinic.
