The Nebraska Nursery and Landscape Association is composed of a Board of Directors, an Executive Committee consisting of the president, vice-president and treasurer and standing committees. The committees are chaired by board members and consist of active and associate members.

The committees are:

The executive committee will also serve as the audit committee responsible for overseeing financial audits, insurance, by-law changes and any legal matters for the association.

Board Nominating Committee: This committee consists of Past Presidents of the NNLA. They receive nominations from the membership for new board members and or choose candidates among active and associate members. This committee contacts all candidates to get their commitment to serve on the board. Voting for new board members takes place at the annual meeting held in January in conjunction with the Annual Conference and Trade Show.

Events Committee: The committee is responsible for planning events that bring all membership together for education, business, networking and fun. This committee is responsible for the Nebraska Green Expo, Field Day and the NNLA Golf Tournament. It will also be responsible for planning future events for members across the state.

Marketing Committee: Marketing for the NNLA consists of newsletters, advertising in other association and trade publications, member information and promotion of events. This committee works closely with other committees to promote member participation.

Certification Committee: The Certification committee is responsible for producing the NCN manual, training and testing for NCN certification. Members of this committee must be Certified Nurserymen. They also are assigned the promotional responsibility to show the value of certification to the general public.

Scholarship Committee: Promotion of student involvement in the NNLA and to reward and encourage horticulture students by awarding scholarships and/or other pre-determined awards is the main responsibility of this committee. They also solicit donations for the scholarship auction held at the Annual conference and review all student applications and determine the scholarship winners.

Member Networking Committee: This committee serves to encourage, promote and facilitate the sharing of information between members. This committee is responsible for developing new and innovative ways for NNLA members to share news and information between themselves and other organizations.

External Affairs & Communications Committee: The mission of this committee is to strengthen the connections between NNLA and other green industry partners, identify common issues, and promote common goals. Activities will include maintaining a consistent presence with the legislature, survey members to identify areas where research and education may be a benefit and establish contacts at each university campus and community colleges to recruit student members.
